Frequently asked questions
The things people ask us most. If your question is not here, call us or stop by. We are happy to answer it.
Is everything at ZAMZAM halal?
Yes. Every product we sell and every meal we prepare is 100% Zabiha Halal. That applies to the butcher counter, the restaurant and the grocery shelves, without exception. There is no separate non-halal section anywhere in the store.
What is ZAMZAM: a supermarket or a restaurant?
Both, under one roof and through one entrance. There is a full grocery market, a restaurant serving shawarma, kabobs, falafel and platters, and a halal butcher counter. You can do your weekly shop, pick up dinner and order meat for the weekend in a single visit.
When is ZAMZAM open?
ZAMZAM opened on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 8041 South 13th Street Unit A in Oak Creek. We are open every day: the supermarket 10 am – 10 pm, the restaurant 10 am – 9:30 pm and the halal butcher 10 am – 9 pm.
Where are you located?
8041 South 13th Street Unit A, Oak Creek, WI 53154, on South 13th Street, just south of Milwaukee. There is a directions button on every page of this site.
Do you have a halal butcher counter?
Yes, a full one. Beef, lamb, goat and chicken, cut to order in front of you: thickness, portioning, trimming, and ground to the coarseness you want.
Can I order a whole goat or lamb for aqiqah, qurbani or a wedding?
Yes. Whole animals are ordered in and cut to your instructions. Please call ahead and give us as much notice as you can, especially around Eid, so we can make sure it is ready when you need it.
Do you cater?
Yes, party platters and half or full trays, built around your guest count. Party platters can be ordered online; for bigger events, send a request with the form on our catering page, call, or stop by so we can get the details right with you. How much notice we need depends on the size of the order, so call as early as you can, or stop by to plan it with us.
Are there vegetarian options on the menu?
Yes. Vegetarian dishes are marked with a leaf on the menu, and there is a legend at the top of the menu explaining each mark. Hummus, baba ghanough, falafel, tabbouleh, house salad and stuffed grape leaves are all vegetarian.
I have a food allergy. Can you help?
Menu items list their allergens, and you should read those first. Please also tell us about your allergy when you order. Be aware that our restaurant shares equipment (the fryer in particular), so we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free of a given allergen.
Do you deliver, or can I order online?
Yes. You can order from our restaurant online for pickup or delivery, every day from 10am to 9:30pm, and schedule an order for later. We deliver to nearby addresses: enter yours at checkout to see if we reach you. ZAMZAM Restaurant is also on Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub if you prefer ordering through an app.
Prefer an app? We're also on Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub.
What payment can I use?
Cash, credit and debit cards, and tap-to-pay including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Is there parking?
Yes. We have our own lot, so you are not looking for a space on 13th Street.
What languages do you speak?
In the store, our staff speak English and Arabic. This website is available in English, Arabic and Spanish. Use the language selector at the top of any page to switch.
